Become a Member of the DCA
The strength of the Deanwood Citizens Association lies in the dedication of our members and volunteers. Elevate your involvement by contributing membership dues and participating in a committee, actively contributing to the DCA's operations. Your membership, coupled with financial contributions from other avenues, plays a pivotal role in funding scholarships for local students and organizing neighborhood events, such as the celebrated Deanwood Day.
DCA memberships are inclusive and available to individuals aged 18 and above residing within the Deanwood boundaries. While we enthusiastically welcome youth members aged 14-17, their inclusion requires being part of Household Membership applications. This approach ensures a community-oriented and comprehensive engagement within the DCA.
We extend the opportunity for Local Small Businesses and Corporations to join as members, welcoming active businesses, religious entities, non-profits, and other enterprises within or interested in collaborating with the Deanwood community. Your partnership with the Deanwood Citizens Association is valued and contributes to our shared goals.

STANDARD MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS
DCA Individual Membership
$25
This membership caters to Senior (over 60) Resident members and households led by senior residents within the specified boundaries of the DCA.
Senior members are entitled to ONE vote in DCA elections.
Benefits and discounts are extended to each registered/listed household member aged 14 years or older.
The opportunity to actively engage in any DCA organization committee of their choice.
Members may also be eligible for special educational scholarships and various other awards.
Membership is for the current year of the organization’s fiscal term beginning October 1st and ending September 30 — The next calendar year if purchased between October 1 and December 31. Membership plan fees are not prorated based on the actual join date.
This membership is designed for youth residents aged 14-17 who live within the specified boundaries of the DCA.
Youth members have the opportunity to actively participate in any DCA organization committee of their choice. They may also be eligible for special educational scholarships and various other awards.
While youth members cannot vote in DCA elections or general business matters, they can vote on issues opened up by the DCA Executive Board or Committees.
Membership is valid for the current fiscal year of the organization, which runs from October 1st to September 30th. If purchased between October 1st and December 31st, membership extends to the next calendar year. Please note that membership fees are not prorated based on the actual join date.
