DEANWOOD CITIZENS ASSOCIATION
WELCOME TO DEANWOOD
One of Northeast's oldest neighborhoods, Deanwood's relatively low-density, small wood-frame and brick homes, and dense tree cover give it a small-town character that is unique in the District of Columbia.
The history of Deanwood is critical to its future. Within the past year, Deanwood has experienced a mini housing boom with many from outside of the community looking to benefit. It is important now, more than ever that neighbors here stay engaged in the civic process.
